  Betty Lou Nelson
   
  Betty Lou Nelson, 59, of 42 Zartman Lane, Lebanon, died Monday, May 5, 2008, in 
  her residence. She was the wife of the late Walter F. "Cook" Nelson Jr. She was 
  born July 3, 1948, a daughter of the late James and Violet Reich Thomas. She 
  enjoyed spending time with nature in Lycoming County at the family hunting 
  camp, playing bingo and traveling to the casinos. Betty is survived by a son, 
  Shawn M. Nelson of Lebanon; sister Anna Mae Shirk of Lebanon. She was preceded 
  in death by a daughter, Lisa Ann Nelson; and a sister, Vivian Hoyer. Funeral 
  service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 
  Cumberland St., Lebanon, with a viewing beginning on Friday at 10 a.m. 
  Interment will be made in the Kimmerlings Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, 
  contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 1274, Lebanon, 
  PA 17042.
