Northridge, 56, of Jonestown returned home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 11, 2008. He was the husband of Sharon F. Krouse Northridge, and on December the 27th, they would have celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary. Born in Boston, Mass., on February 5, 1952, he was the son of Marie T. Conley Northridge of Florham Park, N.J., and the late William A. Northridge. He worked as a financial advisor for the Co-Op Agency in Myerstown. He was an active member of the Zion's Lutheran Church, Jonestown, and served as president of the Northern Lebanon Education Foundation. For over 20 years, he was the Cub master for Pack 490 of Jonestown. He established Jonestown Tball and, for over 20 years, he coached soccer, basketball, T-ball and baseball. He became an Eagle Scout in 1969, and was a 1974 graduate of Bucknell University with an English degree. He wrote for the Bucknellian, and was a four-year letter winner in wrestling, and a member of the KDR Fraternity. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by sons Josh J., husband of Eileen Northridge of New York, N.Y., Jere W. of State College, Joel J., husband of Jordan Northridge of Steelton, Jason P. of the Gettysburg Seminary, Joseph M., at home, Jesse R. of Juniata College and Jonathan R., at home; a daughter, Erin M. Northridge of San Diego, Calif.; brothers Bruce of Bay St. Louis, Miss., Keith of Chester, N.J., Kevin of Gillette, N.J., and Mike Northridge of Potomac, Md.; a sister, Cindy Mendoza of Hopatcong, N.J. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2008, at 11 a.m. at the Zion's Lutheran Church, Jonestown. No viewing. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the church, and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Northridge Children Education Fund, P.O. Box 658, Jonestown, PA 17038.
