  Paul P. "Shorty" Novak, 78, of Lebanon died Wednesday, May 28, 2008. He was the 
  husband of the late Anne V. Podjed Novak, who died in 2006. Born March 31, 
  1930, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Sucansky Novak. He retired 
  from the former Quaker Alloy Co. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served 
  during the Korean War. Paul enjoyed playing golf and had many friends. He is 
  survived by several sisters, nieces, and nephews. Preceded in death by several 
  brothers and sisters. Services private at convenience of the family. Burial in 
  Holy Savior Cemetery, Cornwall. Thompson Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of the 
  arrangements.
