  Minersville, Pa. - Mr. Stephen T. Ondo, 84, of Llewellyn passed away peacefully 
  Tuesday at Schuylkill Medical Center, Jackson Street, Pottsville, Pa. Mr. Ondo 
  was born in Llewellyn on March 27, 1924, the son of the late Michael and Anna 
  (Mraz) Ondo. He was employed as a retail sales manager, retired, at Kreigs 
  Lumber Co. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of 
  Emanuel United Church of Christ, Minersville. A member of Llewellyn Good Intent 
  Fire Co. He was a past president of Minersville Lion's Club, a Scout leader, 
  Masonic Lodge 222, former member Llewellyn Band, and was a saxophonist in the 
  Cassenaiers. He was a 1941 Branch Township High School graduate, attended Penn 
  State, and was a Ford School of Business graduate. His wife of 42 years, Anna 
  Halas Ondo, died in 1993. Surviving - daughter Barbara Ondo of Baltimore, Md.; 
  sons Thomas and wife Lynette Ondo of Richland and Ronald and wife Melinda Ondo 
  of Forestville; three grandchildren, Christopher, Eric and Marissa Ondo; 
  several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Saturday at MahalRitzel 
  Funeral Home inc., Minersville, with the Reverend Sunny Stock officiating. 
  Interment at Llewellyn Cemetery, Llewellyn.
