  Helen M. Reed PALMYRA Helen M. Reed, 79, of East Birch Street, Palmyra, died 
  Monday, January 28, 2008, in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. Born May 17, 
  1928, in Fagleysville, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Mary (Drozd) 
  Rutkowski. She was the devoted wife of the late Earl J. Reed, who died December 
  1, 1999; was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Palmyra, and the Palmyra 
  Garden Club. She will be dearly missed by her loving daughters Claudia Maklouf 
  of Lancaster and Patti Reed of San Francisco, California; brothers Joseph 
  Rutkowski of Gilbertsville and John Rutkowski of Pottstown; sister Florence 
  Smith of Pottstown; and granddaughter Natalie Maklouf of Lancaster. Mass of 
  Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Friday, February 1, 2008, at Holy 
  Spirit Catholic Church, 245 West Pine Street, Palmyra, preceded by a visitation 
  from 9 ñ 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, 
  Annville. Memorial contributions may be made to her church, 245 West Pine 
  Street, Palmyra, PA 17078; or the American Heart Association, PO Box 1263, 
  Lebanon, PA 17042.
