  Esther E. Ritchie FREDERICKSBURG Esther E. Ritchie, 94, formerly of 
  Fredericksburg passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2008, at the Richfield Recovery 
  and Care Center in Salem, Va. She was the wife of the late Gleason E. Ritchie 
  Sr. Born in Lancaster County on January 25, 1914, she was the daughter of the 
  late Christian K. and Mary R. Lehman. She was a graduate of the first LPN class 
  at GSH. For a number of years, she worked as an LPN at GSH and Spang Crest 
  Manor. She was a longtime member of the Jonestown Bible Church, where she 
  taught Sunday school and was a faithful member of the Ladies Fellowship. She is 
  survived by her sons, David H. Ritchie and his wife Vikki of Fredericksburg; 
  Gleason E. Ritchie Jr. and his wife Sarah of Mohrsville; daughters Rhoda, wife 
  of Richard Long of Salem, Va., the Rev. Marianne, wife of Dr. Paul Becker of 
  Norristown, and Ruth, wife of John Williams of York; brothers Paul Lehman of 
  Ephrata and Frank Lehman of Conestoga; sisters Ruth Lehman of Lancaster and 
  Miriam, wife of Jack House of Cairo, Ga. She is also survived by 14 
  grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her 
  son, Daniel H. Ritchie, and brothers Gilbert, Daniel, John and Christian 
  Lehman. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 4, 2008, at 11:30 a.m. 
  at the Jonestown Bible Church. Viewing will be held at the church one hour 
  prior to the service and interment will be in the church cemetery.
