  Richard "Butch" W. Rittle LEBANON Richard "Butch" W. Rittle, 89, of Cedar 
  Haven, formerly of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., died Sunday, March 9, 2008, in the 
  Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth Csaji Rittle 
  and the late Anna Fasnacht Rittle. He was born June 12, 1918, in Lebanon, a son 
  of the late Walter W. and Katie Suzanne Baum Rittle. He was employed for many 
  years in Florida as an insurance salesman. He served with the Merchant Marines 
  during World War II; was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Harrisburg and the 
  B.P.O.E. of Lebanon, Lodge No. 631. Butch was the last surviving member of the 
  1936 Lebanon High School State Championship Basketball Team. He is survived by 
  a daughter, Susan E. Patches of Lebanon; grandchildren, Robert E. Jr., Shirley, 
  Michael, Robert D., Richard, Dale, Ellen, Wayne and Tracy; 14 great-
  grandchildren; nine great-greatgrandchildren; brother, Harvey F. "Butch" Rittle 
  of Lebanon. He was preceded in death by a brother, Edwin H. Rittle; and 
  granddaughter, Lisa Fowler. Funeral service will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. 
  from the chapel of Cedar Haven, 590 S. Fifth Ave., Lebanon, with a viewing 
  beginning on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. Interment will be made in the 
  Ebenezer "Greenwood" Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to 
  Cedar Haven, "Living Legacy Garden," 590 S. Fifth Ave., Lebanon, PA 17042. 
  Rohland Funeral Home Inc. is handling the arrangements.
