  Rooff, Joanne M.   
   
  Joanne M. Rooff, 75, of 108 Wenger St., Rexmont, died Sunday, December 7, 2008, 
  at the Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of Thomas J. Rooff, to whom 
  she wed on September 13, 1952. Born July 6, 1933, in Lebanon, she was the 
  daughter of the late Guilo and Josephine Angelo. She was a retired convention 
  hostess for Hershey Entertainment and Resorts Co. She was a 1951 graduate of 
  Cornwall High School, where she was a drum majorette in the marching band, and 
  also was a homecoming queen. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, crocheting and 
  crafts. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church Cornwall, Pa. Surviving in 
  addition to her husband are three children, son Stephen T. and Denise Rooff, 
  daughter Penny and Matt, and son Brian P. and Ruth Rooff; three grandchildren, 
  Ashley, daughter of Penny, Meg, daughter of Penny, Rachel, daughter of Brian 
  and Ruth; one sister, Gloria Mettley of Rexmont; one brother, Ernesto Angelo of 
  Morgantown; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by three brothers, 
  Nicholas, Julius, and Richard Angelo; one sister, Alma Angelo. Funeral Mass 
  Thursday at 10 a.m. from Sacred Heart Church, Cornwall Road, Cornwall. 
  Interment at Holy Savior Catholic Cemetery, Cornwall. Recitation of the rosary 
  Thursday at 9 a.m. from Thompson Funeral Home Inc., 126 S. Ninth St., Lebanon. 
  Memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude 
  Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
