  Leo J. Rudy, 82, of Myerstown, Pa., died Saturday, November 22, 2008 at the 
  E.C.C. Retirement Village- Albright Campus, Myerstown. He was the husband of 
  Helen J. (Swanger) Rudy to whom he was married 61 years on March 1. Born in 
  Tulpehocken Twp., Berks Co., Pa. on August 9, 1926, he was the son of the late 
  Hiram and Mary E. (Peiffer) Rudy. He had been a farmer in Berks County for many 
  years prior to being a truck driver for various companies. He then became a 
  mechanic in the Berks County area for many years, retiring in the 1990's. He 
  attended Jonestown Bible Church and enjoyed tinkering and gardening. In 
  addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters Maryellen A. wife of Anthony 
  Corrado of Fredericksburg, Pa. and Lucinda J. wife of Paul Moyer of Bernville, 
  Pa. Sons Dane L. husband of Karen Rudy of Bethel, Pa., Duane L. husband of Lila 
  Rudy of Bethel, Pa. and Troy H. husband of Emma Rudy of Nashua, New Hampshire; 
  13 grandchildren; sisters Elda Bugg of Fredericksburg, Pa. and Edna Bugg of 
  Myerstown, Pa.; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother 
  David Rudy and a sisters Emma Rittle and Mabel Brown. Funeral services will be 
  held Friday, November 28, 2008 at 11 am. from Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. 
  Washington Ave., Myerstown, Pa. Viewing Friday at 10 am. Interment at Hamlin 
  Cemetery, Bethel Twp., Pa. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be 
  made to Jonestown Bible Church, 14 Silvertown Road, Jonestown, Pa. 17038.
