  Sarik, Ruth I.   
   
  Ruth I. Sarik Ruth I. Sarik, 82, 18 E. Locust St., Lebanon, died Tuesday, 
  December 2, 2008, in the Lebanon Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of 
  the late George P. Sarik, who passed away in 1993. She was born in Danville on 
  January 22, 1926, daughter of the late John and Edith Nevius Shade. She was 
  retired from Sterling Drug. Surviving are son Daniel Sarik and wife Terry of 
  Houston, Texas; daughters Dona Porvaznik of Lebanon, Rita Sarik of Lewisberry; 
  six grandchildren; one greatgranddaughter; and brother Donald Shade of 
  Millville. She was preceded in death by daughter Georgia Cunningham and 
  brothers John Shade and Ralph Shade. Private family services were held 
  Thursday, December 4, 2008, in the Rohland Funeral Home Inc., Lebanon, with 
  interment in Grand View Memorial Park. The Rev. Allen F. Helwig, chaplain of 
  Good Samaritan Hospital, officiated.
