  May E. (Zimmerman) Sauer, 84, 615 S. Forge Road, Palmyra, died Monday, June 2, 
  2008, in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of the late William 
  G. Sauer, who died August 21, 1972. She was born in Mt. Carmel, Pa., on March 
  1, 1924, to Warren and Mabel Klawitter Zimmerman. She retired after 20+ years 
  from the M.S. Hershey Medical Center working as a professional reimbursement 
  coordinator. She is a member of the Hill United Church of Christ. She enjoyed 
  her monthly outings with her "lunch bunch." Surviving her are her daughters, 
  Sandra E. Carl and her husband Donald and Marsha M. Sauer, both of Palmyra; her 
  three grand dogs, Roxie, Emma and Callie; a sister, Alma Betty Jelus of Mt. 
  Carmel, Pa. An infant brother, Melvin Zimmerman, preceded her in death. 
  Relatives and friends are invited for a time of visitation on Saturday, June 7, 
  2008, from 9-10 at the Rothermel Funeral Home Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, 
  followed by her funeral service at 10 with the Rev. Leonard Knighton 
  officiating. Burial will follow in the Grandview Memorial Park. In lieu of 
  flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Hill United Church of 
  Christ, 3801 Hill Church Road, Cleona, PA 17046; or to the Humane Society of 
  Lebanon County, 150 N. Ramona Road, Myerstown, PA 17067.
