Sauley, 84, of North Lincoln Street, Palmyra, died Sunday, October 12, 2008, in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. Born November 11, 1923, in Burnham, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Pearl Spigelmeyer. For 20 years, she had worked in the bakery at the Milton Hershey School, was a member of First United Methodist Church, Palmyra, and had been involved with the Palmyra Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She was the widow of Harry J. Sauley Sr., and also preceded in death by a brother, Earl Spigelmeyer. Surviving are her son, Harry J. Sauley Jr., and wife Kathy of Annville; and granddaughter Samantha Ledbetter. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2008, at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra. Burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra. Viewings 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday, and 9 - 10 a.m. Wednesday, both at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Citizen's Fire Company No. 1, 21 North College Street, Palmyra, PA 17078.
