  Amy E. Schach 
  
  PINE GROVE Amy E. Schach, age 92, formerly of Deturksville Road, Pine Grove, 
  passed away on Monday, March 10, 2008, at Schuylkill Center, Pottsville. Born 
  on July 7, 1915, in Upper Darby, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Charles 
  C. and Margaret Laudenslager Brandt. She was a member of Hetzel's Lutheran 
  Church in Pine Grove. Amy had been employed as a presser for the former Hess's 
  Mfg. Pine Grove. She was a member of the Pine Grove Kitchen Ban, and enjoyed 
  doing all types of crafts. Preceding her in death was her husband of 71 years, 
  Charles R. "Haggerty" Schach, on August 18, 2004; and a sister, Dorothy Nagel. 
  Surviving are two daughters, Jaqueline Lengel of Wilmington, Del., and Lorraine 
  Morgan of Pine Grove; four sons, William Schach, James Schach, Robert Schach 
  and Richard Schach, all of Pine Grove; 15 grandchildren; 17 greatgrandchildren; 
  two greatgreat-grandchildren; and two sisters, Madeline Weise and Geraldine 
  Whitman, both of Lebanon. Graveside services and burial will be held on 
  Thursday, March 13, 2008, at St. Matthew's Lutheran Cemetery in Ravine at 1 
  p.m. The H.L. Snyder Funeral Home Inc., Pine Grove, is in charge of 
  arrangements. The Rev. Calvin Morgan will officiate at the graveside services. 
  In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations be made to the American 
  Cancer Society, 16 North Fourth Street, Minersville, in her memory.
