  Scheer, Catherine I. "Connie"   
   
  Catherine I. "Connie" Scheer, 83, of 26 Springhouse Drive, Arbor Gate, 
  Myerstown, died Sunday, October 5, 2008, at her residence. She was the wife of 
  Nicholas M. Scheer. Born in Lebanon, Pa., on February 24, 1925, she was the 
  daughter of the late Simon and Kate Kercher Arnold. She was a member of Mary 
  Gate of Heaven Church, Myerstown, and was a graduate of Lebanon Catholic High 
  School. She enjoyed crocheting, cross stitching and reading. Surviving in 
  addition to her husband are one son, Gregory C., husband of Tina M. Scheer of 
  Myerstown; two grandchildren, Jennie Boyer and David J. Boyer; four 
  greatgrandchildren; one sister, Hilda Weihrauch of Lebanon; several nieces and 
  nephews. Preceded in death by a son, Michael Scheer; and several brothers and 
  sisters. Mass of Christian Burial Friday at 11 a.m. from Mary Gate of Heaven, 
  188 W. McKinley Ave., Myerstown. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Lebanon. 
  Viewing hours Friday morning from 910:45 at the church, with recitation of the 
  rosary at 10:45. Thompson Funeral Home Inc., Lebanon, is in charge of the 
  arrangements.
