  Schneck, Bruce F.    
   
   
  Bruce F. Schneck, 85, of Church Street, died Thursday at Tremont Health and 
  Rehabilitation. Born in Pine Grove Township, September 14, 1922, a son of the 
  late Oscar and Jennie Maurer Schneck. He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran. 
  Bruce retired as an aircraft examiner with New Cumberland Army Depot. He was a 
  member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Reinerton, Pine Grove American Legion, 
  and the NRA. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. He was 
  predeceased by his wife, Ruth Herb Schneck, a brother, and a sister. Surviving 
  are two sons, Marcus H. Schneck and his wife, Jill M. Caravan of Hamburg, Bruce 
  H. Schneck and his wife, Carol A. of Tower City; four grandchildren, Dale 
  Schneck, Angela Shuey, Charlene Bettinger, Casey Schneck; five great-
  grandchildren; one great-greatgranddaughter. Graveside services will be held 
  Tuesday, July 1st, at 11 a.m. from the Fairview Cemetery, Muir. There will be 
  no viewing.  Dimon Funeral Homes Inc. has charge of arrangements.
