  Meda E. Schrack Meda E. Schrack, 92, of Upper Tulpehocken Township died April 
  23, 2008, in Reading Hospital, where she had been a patient two days. She was 
  the widow of Charles A. Schrack, who died October 23, 2007. Born in Pottsville, 
  she was a daughter of the late Harry and Annie (Warner) Clauser. A graduate of 
  Empire Beauty School, Reading, she operated a beauty salon from her residence 
  for many years, retiring in 1997. She and her husband also operated their farm 
  in Upper Tulpehocken Township for 60 years. She was a member of St. Paul's 
  United Church of Christ, New Schaefferstown. She is survived by two daughters, 
  Marilyn J., wife of Carl Kreiner of Newmanstown, and Leanna M., wife of Baron 
  Light of Hamburg. There are one brother, Elwin Clauser of Schuylkill Haven; and 
  one sister, Shirley Williamson of Valley View, Schuylkill County. There are 
  also two granddaughters, Carlyn, wife of Philip Krall of Schaefferstown, 
  Lebanon County, and Doreen Kreiner of Lancaster; and two great grandchildren, 
  Lauren and Ethan Krall. She was predeceased by a sister, Mae Epler in 1997. 
  Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in Kirkhoff Funeral Home, 206 N. 
  Main Street, Bernville, with the Rev. Krista Keisling officiating. Burial will 
  be in St. Paul's Cemetery, New Schaefferstown. Friends may call Saturday 1 hour 
  prior to service time in the funeral home. Flowers are welcome, or 
  contributions may be made to St. Paul's UCC, 145 Tulpehocken Street, Bernville, 
  PA 19506.
