  Charles A. Sechrist, 80, 303 Maple Ave., Gretna Springs, Manheim, died 
  Saturday, September 27, 2008, in his residence. He was the husband of Marilyn 
  L. Miller Sechrist, to whom he was married for 60 years. He was born in West 
  Lebanon on December 5, 1927, son of the late Charles F. and Erma Elliott 
  Sechrist. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was an active member 
  of Trinity United Methodist Church, Lebanon. He was a graduate of Lebanon High 
  School. Surviving in addition to his wife are son Thomas L., husband of Corinne 
  Sechrist of Hummelstown; daughter Marilyn "Molly," wife of Craig Gangaway of 
  Greenpoint; grandsons Nathan Sechrist and wife Kelly, Adam Gangaway; great-
  grandsons Joshua and Benjamin Sechrist; and brother James, husband of Patricia 
  Sechrist of Ephrata. He was preceded in death by sister Gail Sechrist. Funeral 
  services Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2008, at 1:30 p.m. in Trinity United Methodist 
  Church, Eighth and Willow streets, Lebanon, where a viewing will be held 
  Wednesday beginning at 12:30 p.m. Interment Ebenezer "Greenwood" Cemetery. In 
  lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hospice of the GSH, Fourth 
  and Walnut streets, Lebanon 17042; or Trinity UM Church, 757 Willow St., 
  Lebanon 17046. The Rohland Funeral Home Inc., Lebanon, is in charge of 
  arrangements.
