Seltzer, 61, of Lebanon went home to be with the Lord on Thursday January 10, 2008, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Christine G. Kline Seltzer, and on November 15th, they celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary. Born in Jonestown on October 14, 1946, he was the son of the late Leroy and Edith Spangler Seltzer. He retired from IGMR where he had worked as a carpenter. He was a member of the Bunker Hill Evangelical Congregation Church, and he enjoyed woodworking and gardening. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam conflict. In addition to his wife he is survived by his son Robert E. Seltzer and his wife Melissa of Fredericksburg; daughters Tina M., wife of Ronald Weaber of Cleona, and Michelle Seltzer of Jonestown; step-sons Gary R. Gettler and his wife Anna Mae of Myerstown, Ronald G. Gettler and his wife Julie of Florida, Rick J. Gettler and his wife Maria of Houston, Texas, Leon S. Gettler of Lebanon, Larry B. Gettler and his wife Lisa of Lebanon; a step-daughter Gail M., wife of James Stump of Lebanon; brothers Eugene R. Seltzer of Lebanon and Earl R. Seltzer of Virginia; a sister Eloise, wife of Ken Queen of Annville; 16 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister Eleanor Kale. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2008, at 10 a.m. at the Strauss-Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home, 48 W. Market St., Jonestown. Viewing will be held on Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. Interment will be at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Developmental and Disability Services, 1126 Walnut St., Lebanon, PA 17042.
