  Claire L. Shaeffer, 87, of 708 Elm St., Lebanon, died Tuesday, October 21, 
  2008, at her residence. She was the wife of James Keesey, and the late Richard 
  G. Shaeffer. Born October 31, 1920, in Trenton, N.J., she was the daughter of 
  the late Harry and Edna Erdman Lawless. She was a graduate of Lebanon Catholic 
  High School. She attended St. Mary's Church, and was devoted to attending daily 
  Mass. She was an avid bingo and card player. In addition to her husband, she is 
  survived by four children, Ronnie Shaeffer, Joan Callos, Jane Kristovensky, and 
  Ted Shaeffer; 16 grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren. She was the last of 
  her immediate family. Mass of Christian Burial Friday at 10 a.m. from St. 
  Mary's Church, 2 N. Eighth St., Lebanon, PA 17046. Interment at Holy Cross 
  Cemetery. Visitation Friday 9-10 a.m. at the church. No flowers. Contributions 
  to St. Mary's Church. Thompson Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
