  Rita C. Shay LEBANON Rita C. Shay, 78, of 308 Plaza Apts., Lebanon, died 
  Saturday, March 29, 2008, at Spang Crest Manor, Lebanon. She was the wife of 
  the late Alfred C. Shay, who died in 1990. Born in Lebanon on July 11, 1929, 
  she was the daughter of the late Edwin C. and Elizabeth Coyle Schreiber. She 
  was a medical secretary for seven years at the Lebanon VA Medical Center, and a 
  secretary for 12 years at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Cornwall. She was a 
  graduate of Lebanon Catholic High School and member of St. Mary's Church, 
  Lebanon. She loved spending time with her family. Surviving are two sons, 
  Michael A., husband of Bonnie Shay of Lebanon, and Patrick S. Sr., husband of 
  Laura Shay of Mt. Joy; four grandchildren, Daniel Shay, Erin Shay, Patrick S. 
  Shay Jr., and Ciara Shay; one sister, Mary S. Schlegel of Lebanon; many nieces 
  and nephews. Preceded in death by three brothers, Edward J. Schreiber, William 
  H. Schreiber, and Raphael C. Schreiber. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday at 
  10 a.m. from St. Mary's Church, 2 N. Eighth St., Lebanon. Interment at Holy 
  Cross Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday morning from 9-10 at the church. Thompson 
  Funeral Home Inc., Lebanon, is in charge of the arrangements.
