College St., Palmyra, died Friday, May 23, 2008 in her residence. She is the wife of William A. Sheetz whom she was married to for 66 years. She was born on July 2, 1922 in Lebanon to Arthur & Irene Hess Hershberger. She was the Secretary for the William Sheetz Real Estate business in Palmyra. She has also worked for the Hershey Chocolate Factory in the wrapping department for several years. She is a member of the Gravel Hill United Methodist Church. She was a former Girl Scout leader & Boy Scout Den Mother. She was an avid bowler. She enjoyed traveling with her husband. Surviving in addition to her husband are her sons Kerby A. Sheetz of Palmyra, Gary Sheetz & his wife Karen of Westerville, OH; daughters Kristi Hossler & her husband Ronald of Palmyra & Vicki Clements & her husband Alfred of Annville; 7 grandchildren, Todd Sheetz, Brian Sheetz, Renelle McDonald, Andrew Clements, Josh Hossler, Alissa Timpone & Christopher Sheetz & 9 great grandchildren; sisters Joann Hicks of Lebanon & Miriam Levick of Waverly, Iowa and numerous nieces & nephews. Her grandson Kevin M. Sheetz & brothers Richard Hershberger & Arthur Hershberger, Jr., preceded her in death. Relatives & friends are invited to attend a time of viewing on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 from 9:30-10:30 AM at the Rothermel Funeral Home, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra followed by her funeral at 10:30 with Rev. Douglas Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
