White Oak Street, Annville, died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2008, in the Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born in Dec. 4, 1926, in Hanover Township to her late parents Earl and Elsie (Reinbold) Binkley. She attended Annville schools and she and her husband celebrated their 41st Wedding Anniversary this past April. She was a member of St. Paul The Apostle Catholic Church, Annville, where she was an Extraordinary Eucharistic Minister, a teacher of Religious Education which she loved doing for 20 years, having taught 3rd grade for 12 years. A member of the Lebanon Valley College Auxiliary, the Board of Directors for the Annville-Cleona Religious Education Association and rode on the school bus once a week with the children to their religion classes, which she helped to teach. Colleen was an avid roller skater in her earlier years and worked as a waitress for 11 years at the Green Terrace, Annville. She loved camping, especially in Vermont, buying and wrapping Christmas presents, making holiday and birthday meals for her family, and tending her grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son Randolph J. Croce, husband of Debra Croce of Lebanon; James Shenk of France; Thomas L. Shenk and wife Sandy Shenk of Calif.; Glen P. Shenk and wife Sharon Shenk of CA; daughters Cheryl, wife of Thomas Wunderlich of Palmyra; Janet, wife of George Kline of Hummelstown; and Alice, wife of Michael Mallick of Middletown; Kathleen Shenk of Huntington; and Diane Shenk of Leola. Grandchildren Timothy Wunderlich of Hershey; Michelle, wife of David Tyndall of Palmyra; Nicholas and wife Katie Croce of Chalfont; Erica Croce of Annville; Elizabeth Kline of Rochester, N.Y.; Benjamin and wife Sara Kline of Hummelstown; Jackie, wife of Bruce Buffenmeyer of Annville; and five greatgrandchildren. Also surviving is sister LuAnna Wolf of Drexel Hill, Pa.; a brother-inlaw James Bowers of Annville; and a niece Barbara Wolf of Hockessin, Del. She was preceded in death by a brother Allen Binkley, a sister Janet Bowers, and a son Ira L. Shenk. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. from St. Paul The Apostle Church, 125 S. Spruce St., Annville, PA 17003. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Monday evening from 68 p.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville, with a Christian Burial Vigil at 7:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Paul The Apostle Church.
