  Ira Lee Shenk, 59, of 409 13th Street, Huntingdon, entered into eternal rest on 
  Friday, November 14, 2008, at the Hearthside Nursing Center, State College. Ira 
  was an employee of the Goodwill Industries of Huntingdon. He was a U.S. Air 
  Force veteran of the Vietnam War. His parents, Shirley J. Hitz of Huntingdon 
  and Ira J., husband of Colleen Shenk of Annville; three brothers, James Shenk 
  Hamilton of Paris, France, Glenn P. and wife Sharon Shenk of La Palma, Calif., 
  and Thomas L. and wife Sandy Shenk of Anaheim, Calif.; three sisters, Alice L., 
  wife of Michael Mallick of Middletown, Kathleen A. Shenk of Huntingdon and 
  Diane J. Shenk of Quarryville, Pa.; nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, survive 
  him. A tribute to his life will be held on Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Matinchek 
  and Daughter Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Middletown, with Father 
  Stephen Vernak officiating. Burial will be in the Evangelical United Brethren 
  Cemetery, Annville. Viewing will be from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday at the 
  funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Goodwill Industries, 1150 
  Goodwill Drive, Harrisburg, PA 17101; or the American Cancer Society, 3211 N. 
  Front St., Suite 100, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
