  Marlin R. Shepler Jr. Marlin R. Shepler Jr., 73, of 430 N. 13th St., Lebanon, 
  died Saturday, April 26, 2008, in the Lebanon VA Hospital. He was the husband 
  of the late Grace E. Solesky Shepler. Born in Frystown, Pa., on March 1, 1935, 
  he was the son of the late Marlin R. Sr. and Viola Demmy Shepler. He was a 
  retired granulation supervisor for the Lebanon Seaboard Co., having worked 
  there for 39 years. He was an avid fisherman, Penn State fan, and Reading 
  Phillies fan. He enjoyed his two dogs, Daisymae and Dino. He was a member of 
  St. Benedict's Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Surviving are four children, 
  Candice R., wife of Roy Leonard of Sparks, Nevada, Daniel M., husband of Paul 
  Shepler of Lebanon, Angela L., wife of J. DeAngelo Jr. of Lebanon, and Nicole 
  M., wife of 1st Sgt. Nathan D. Billips of Whitehall, Pa.; six grandchildren, 
  Lauren Zimmerman, Elizabeth Shepler, Thomas Gipe, Kayla Gipe, Jared Billips and 
  Emily Billips; one brother, Victor Shepler of Myerstown; and one sister, 
  Catherine Ryland of Myerstown; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded 
  in death by one brother, Jack Shepler; and two sisters, Edith Shepler and 
  Margaret Long. Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 9 a.m. from St. 
  Benedict's Church, 1300 Lehman St., Lebanon. Interment on Indiantown Gap 
  National Cemetery. Viewing hours Tuesday evening 6-8, and Wednesday morning 8-
  8:30 at Thompson Funeral Home Inc., 126 S. Ninth St. In lieu of flowers, 
  donations may be made to the Lebanon VA Hospice Program, 1700 S. Lincoln Ave., 
  Lebanon 17042.
