  Shirk, Dorothy M. "Dottie"   
   
  Dorothy M. "Dottie" Shirk, 88, of 440 Poplar St., Lebanon, died Tuesday, 
  November 11, 2008, in the Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born February 14, 
  1920, in Lebanon, daughter of the late Raymond D. and Anna B. Murren Hackman. 
  She was an active member of Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, where she 
  was a member of the Laura M. Himmelberger Class. Surviving are her husband of 
  67 years, Raymond W. Shirk of Lebanon; sons Raymond W. Shirk Jr. of Reading and 
  Ronald A. Shirk of Lebanon; and grandson Galen Shirk. She was the last of her 
  immediate family. Viewing is scheduled for Monday, November 17, 2008, from 9-10 
  a.m. at Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 723 Lehman Street, Lebanon, 
  PA 17046, followed by services at 10 a.m. Burial will be at 
  Ebenezer "Greenwood" Cemetery. Memorials can be sent to her church.
