Miller shabodeho@aol.com August 7, 2008, 10:55 pm Published in the Lebanon Daily News on 7/29/2008 Shultz, Mary Jane (Huber) Mary Jane (Huber) Shultz, 80, Township of Spring, passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2008, in the Reading Hospital & Medical Center, where she had been a patient for six days. Born in Lancaster, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Roy S. Huber and Edna (Schaeffer) Huber Hunsicker. She is survived by her husband, the Rev. George Shultz Jr., with whom she would have celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary on August 20, 2008. She was a graduate of Penn Manor High School, Lancaster County. A member of Immanuel United Church of Christ, Shillington, she expressed her faith mostly focused by singing in the Senior Choir and by being deeply committed to diversity, peace and justice issues. Her favorite place of employment was as a library-aide in the Lebanon City School District, where she was responsible for the library at the Southwest Elementary School. She had also been employed in the laboratory of General Cigar Co., Lancaster, and Wyeth Pharmaceutical Laboratory, Marietta. In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children and four grandchildren, all of whom she deeply loved - a son, Kenneth D. and wife Dawn of Lebanon, a son, James C. of Reinholds, a son, David M. and wife Brenda of Lebanon; and a daughter, Barbara J. and husband Robert P. Eberly of Shillington. The Grandchildren are Tyler E. and Andriana L. Shultz and Philip J. and Megan L. Eberly. A service of celebration and remembrance will be held in Immanuel United Church of Christ, Shillington, on Friday evening, August 1, at 7:30 p.m. 99 South Waverly St., Shillington, PA. Other arrangements will be at the convenience of the family, and under the direction of Klee Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Shillington, Pa.
