  Dorothy I. Smith Dorothy I. Smith, Cedar Haven, formerly of Poplar Terrace, 
  Lebanon, died Wednesday, June 18, 2008, in Cedar Haven. She was the wife of the 
  late Ellwood R. Smith Sr. She was born in Lebanon on October 9, 1923, daughter 
  of the late Claud and Jenny E. Ney Reichard. She had been a seamstress at the 
  Lebanon Dress Co. She was a very active member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 
  Lebanon, where she was involved in the soup sales. She was a member of the 
  Retired Steelworkers, and had been a swim instructor for many years at the 
  YMCA. Surviving are son Ellwood R. "Woody" Smith Jr. and wife Kathleen of 
  Lebanon; grandson Wesley Smith of Lebanon; sisters Betty Windermaker of 
  Carlisle, Pearl Kalke of Rehrersburg, Gloria Reichard of Palmyra; brothers 
  Francis and wife Sandy Reichard of Lebanon, Floyd Reichard of Utah, Carl and 
  wife Revana Reichard of Utah and Lloyd Reichard of Carlisle. Memorial service 
  Wednesday, June 25, 2008, at 11 a.m. in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Spruce 
  and Lehman streets, Lebanon. Family and friends will be received following the 
  service in the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to her 
  church. Interment Grand View Memorial Park. The Rohland Funeral Home Inc., 
  Lebanon, is in charge of arrangements.
