  Mollie V. Smith, 85, of 1934 Bannister St., York, died Tuesday, November 4, 
  2008, in her home. She was the wife of the late Willard A. Smith. She was born 
  May 1, 1923, in Schaefferstown, Pa., a daughter of the late William II and 
  Franey V. Achey Moyer. Mollie was employed as a seamstress for the former Doe-
  Spun Company in York and, during World War II, was employed at the Middletown 
  Army Depot. She was a member of the ILGWU (garment workers union), Red Hat 
  Society, and the Pennsylvania Dutch Heritage Club. She is survived by children 
  Roseanne M. Rogers of Lancaster, Marshall V., husband of Carol Smith of York; 
  grandchildren Megan, wife of Sean O'Neill, Marshall Smith Jr. and wife Angie, 
  Michelle, wife of Eric Bragg; greatgrandsons Sean O'Neill, Connor O'Neill, 
  Kinser Smith; sisters Marguerite Moyer of Lancaster, Pauline Bingeman of 
  Lititz; brother Franklin, husband of Elizabeth Moyer of Schaefferstown. She was 
  preceded in death by brothers Eugene Moyer and Ralph Moyer; sisters Eleanor 
  Kramer and Vernetta Kleinfelter. Funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. 
  in the Clauser Funeral Home, North Carpenter Street, Schaefferstown, with a 
  viewing beginning on Friday at 10 a.m. Interment in the Schaefferstown 
  Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Heartland Home 
  Health Care and Hospice, 3417 Conrad Road, York, PA 17402; or SPCA of York 
  County, 3159 N. Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17406.
