  Roy "Punch" Snavely, 86, 1853 Creston Drive, Lebanon, died Tuesday, May 13, 
  2008, in the Lebanon VA Medical Center. He was the husband of Eloise J. 
  Eisenhauer Snavely. He was born in Lebanon on October 22, 1921, son of the late 
  Harry M. and Ellen Fuhrman Snavely. He was a retired truck driver, having last 
  worked for Interstate Dress Carriers. He was a World War II U.S. Army Air Corps 
  veteran, having served three years in England. He was a member of the 
  Perseverance Fire Co., the Forty & Eight, April Sidebanders, Lebanon VFW Post 
  23, Jonestown and Lebanon American legions. Surviving in addition to his wife, 
  are son Thomas Neal Snavely of Lebanon; daughter-inlaw Susan Snavely of Mt. 
  Wilson; grandchildren Jill, wife of Marino Taraschi, Suann Snavely, Wendy A. 
  Snavely, Christopher, husband of Stephanie Snavely, Roberta Snavely; 
  greatgrandchildren Ashley Roof, Janelle Roof, Liam Taraschi, Ophelia 
  Castellitto; sisters Celesta Hollinger of Lebanon, Elizabeth Bretz of 
  Jonestown, Harriett Fox of Myerstown and Ethel Bracken of New Mexico. He was 
  preceded in death by son LeRoy Snavely; grandson Thomas Russell Snavely; 
  brothers James, Leonard, Harvey Snavely; sisters Margaret Rudy and Mary 
  Achenbach. Funeral services Friday at 11 a.m. Rohland Funeral Home Inc., Fifth 
  and Cumberland streets, Lebanon, where a viewing will be held Friday beginning 
  at 10 a.m. Interment Monday at 10:30 a.m. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In 
  lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lebanon VA Medical Center 
  Hospice Unit, 1700 S. Lincoln Ave., Lebanon 17042
