  James R. Snyder, 75, 47 Walton St., Lebanon, died Saturday July 19, 2008 in the 
  Lebanon VA Med Center. He was the husband of Lois D. Brown Snyder. He was born 
  in Myerstown on January 28, 1933 son of the late Lester D. and Anna E. Risser 
  Snyder. He was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a retired parts man 
  for D.K. Wissler International retiring in 1989. He was a member of the Lebanon 
  VFW Post 23 and the Lebanon American Legion Post 158. Surviving in addition to 
  his wife are sons: Greg J. husband of Denise Snyder, Lebanon; Earl L. husband 
  of Debra Snyder, Myerstown; daughter: Rita M. wife of Terry Hibshman, Richland; 
  5 grandchildren; brother: Harry R. "Dick" Snyder, Myerstown; sisters: Anna M. 
  wife of Leon Kline, Lebanon; Kathleen F. Layser, Bethel and their families. He 
  was preceded in death by brothers: Kenneth, Lester, Robert, Willoughby Snyder 
  and sister: Jean Filler. Funeral service Wednesday July 23, 2008 at 10:30 AM 
  Rohland Funeral Home, Inc., 5th & Cumberland St, Lebanon where a viewing will 
  be held Wednesday beginning at 9:30 AM. Interment Indiantown Gap National 
  Cemetery.
