  Betty L. Spangler LEBANON Betty L. Spangler, 77, formerly of Newmanstown died 
  April 17th at 7:50 a.m. in ManorCare, Lebanon. Her husband, Warren C. Spangler, 
  died July 14, 1997. Born in Womelsdorf daughter of the late Walter and Emma 
  Matilda "Tillie" (Kantner) German. She was employed 141/2 years as an inspector 
  at RCA, Lancaster; eight years at Bethlehem Steel Millard Quarry, Annville; 
  eight years at the Lebanon Steel Foundry, Lebanon; and 121/2 years as an 
  inspector at Carpenter Steel, retiring on July 31, 1995. She was a member of 
  Millcreek Lutheran Church. Surviving: daughter Cheryl A., wife of Joe Patrick 
  of Harker Heights, Texas; also four grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. 
  Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Millcreek Lutheran Church, PO Box 
  399, 221 N. Sheridan Road, Newmanstown, PA 17073. Interment at Richland 
  Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday 10 to 11 a.m. in the church. Lamm & Witman 
  Funeral Home Inc., Wernersville, is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, 
  memorial contributions may be made to Millcreek Lutheran Church at the above 
  address.
