  Spatz, LaVerne Marie   
   
   
  LaVerne Marie Spatz, of Lititz, entered into rest on Thursday, July 31, 2008, 
  at Maple Farm Nursing Center. Born in Montello, she was a daughter of the late 
  Leon and Daisy (Kohl) Hartman. Her husband, John A. Spatz, passed away on 
  January 11, 2004. She was employed by Dutchmaid and Atlas Mfg. of Ephrata. She 
  enjoyed crocheting, the Phillies, NASCAR and her grandchildren. Surviving are 
  her children, Linda L. Whitman, Lebanon, Steve B. (Lucille Kopp) Jones, 
  Rothsville, Nancy J. Jones, Lititz, John A. (Kimberly Luca) Jones, Lititz, and 
  Rick E. Jones, Ephrata; 12 grandchildren; 10 greatgrandchildren; 2 greatgreat-
  grandchildren; and a sister, Kathryn (Daniel) Leib, Schaefferstown. Preceding 
  LaVerne in death was a son, Kent M. Jones. The funeral will be on Tuesday, 
  August 5, 2008, at 11:00 a.m., viewing from 10-11 a.m. in the Roseboro Funeral 
  Home, 533 Walnut St., Denver.
