  George R. Stone, 81, Lebanon, died Thursday, September 4, 2008, in ManorCare, 
  Lebanon. He was the husband of Joyce M. Leffler Stone, with whom he celebrated 
  a 58th wedding anniversary in March. He was born in High Bridge, N.J., on 
  October 6, 1926, a son of the late Charles and Lila Wack Stone. He was a 
  retired construction superintendent for Consolidated Construction Company, with 
  20 years of service. He served in the U.S. Army, and was a member of the River 
  of Life Church of God. In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons Edward 
  G. and Andrea Stone of Lebanon, Rodney W. and wife Denise Stone of Chicago, 
  Ill.; grandchildren Edward G. Stone Jr. of Lebanon, Erin L. Stone of Lebanon, 
  Kevin Stone of Monroe, Ohio, Benjamin J. Stone of Chicago, Ill.; brother 
  Charles Stone of Lebanon; also several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in 
  death by brother Luther Stone, and sisters Mary Ellen Stone, Carlotta Dick, 
  Naomi Stone and Carol Samek. Funeral services will be Tuesday 11 a.m. in the 
  Rohland Funeral Home, Fifth and Cumberland streets, Lebanon. Interment will be 
  made in Grand View Memorial Park. Viewing will be Tuesday from 10 a.m. to the 
  time of service in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be 
  made to the Heartland Hospice Memorial Fund, 4 Park Plaza, Suite 105-A, Park 
  Road North, Wyomissing, PA 19610.
