Miller Sshabodeho@aol.com June 15, 2008, 9:34 am Published in the Lebanon Daily News on 6/6/2008 Terhune, Grace Grace Terhune Honored senior citizen Roselle, N.J., resident, 93 Grace Terhune (nee Wills), 93, of Roselle died on Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at the Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center, Edison, N.J. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral service, which will be held in the Leonard-Lee Funeral Home, 301 E. Blancke St., Linden, N.J., on Friday, June 6, at 4:30 p.m. Visiting hours will also be on Friday from 2 to 5 p.m. Her final wishes were to return home to Lebanon, and after a private cremation, to be buried in the family plot at the Kochendefer Cemetery. Born and raised in Lebanon, Grace lived in Newark, N.J., from 1942 until moving to Roselle in 1965. With her late husband, Harrison, she served as superintendent of the Carolyn Garden Apartments, Roselle, for 20 years, from 1965 to 1985. She then moved to Pinewood Hall in Roselle, and in 1989 received the Outstanding Senior Citizen Award from the Roselle Knights of Columbus Council 3946 for her service to other residents. Grace was praised for her sense of decency, integrity and fairness. She enjoyed many years of service, such as driving residents to doctors' appointments, serving Meals on Wheels, and generally helping out others. She loved to cook, bake, go bowling and make other people's lives more enjoyable. She was the beloved daughter of the late Abram and Lotti Gross Wills. She was also predeceased by her daughters, Gladys Botti and Jean Jones; her brother, George Wills; and her grandson, Tyler Silva. She is survived by her daughter, Alice Silva of Toms River, N.J.; sons-in-law Joseph Botti of Iselin, N.J., and Donald Jones of Roselle; five grandchildren; and nine great- grandchildren. Also surviving are two nieces, Diane Wills Bowen and Marion Wills McCurdy, both of Pennsylvania. Published in the Lebanon Daily News on 6/6/2008.
