  Nancy E. Tice, 77, of Myerstown, Pa., formerly of West Carpenter Avenue, 
  Myerstown, died Thursday, December 11, 2008, at her residence. She was the 
  widow of Carl R. Tice, who died November 11, 1982. Born in Lebanon, Pa., on 
  April 13, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Margaret C. 
  (Eisenhauer) Gettle. She had been employed at Steffy Shoe Co., Avon, Pa., for 
  many years. She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church, Myerstown, Pa., 
  and enjoyed baby-sitting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is 
  survived by daughters Gail Shaud of Lebanon, Pa., and Jodi, wife of Timothy 
  Lynch, with whom she resided; a son, Carl R. Jr., husband of Wanda Tice of 
  Myerstown, Pa.; six grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren; sisters Jean, wife 
  of Glenn Miller of Myerstown, Pa., Anita Boyer of Lebanon, Pa., Dorothy 
  Hibshman of Lebanon, Pa., Gloria Bennett of Lebanon, Pa., Margaret, wife of 
  Harry Reich of Myerstown, Pa.; and brothers John Gettle of Wichita, Kansas, and 
  Clyde, husband of Ruth Gettle of Lebanon, Pa.; several nieces and nephews; and 
  was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Gettle. Funeral services will be 
  held Tuesday at 10 a.m. from Zion United Methodist Church, Myerstown, Pa. 
  Viewing Tuesday at 9 a.m. at the church. Interment at Grand View Memorial Park, 
  Annville, Pa. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Zion 
  United Methodist Church, 22 E. Main Ave., Myerstown, PA 17067. Grose Funeral 
  Home, Myerstown, is in charge of arrangements.
