  Gary E. Troutman, 70, of Myerstown, Pa., died at his residence Saturday, May 
  24, 2008, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Bonnie 
  Y. (Landes) Troutman, to whom he was married 51 years on December 1. Born in 
  Stouchsburg, Pa., on May 19, 1938, he was the son of the late Vernon J. and 
  Marian V. (Himmelberger) Troutman. Known for his beautiful stained glass work, 
  he owned and operated the Gary Troutman Glass Service, Myerstown, Pa., from 
  1960-1984. From 1984-1986, he worked for Hoover Motors, Wernersville, Pa., and 
  from 1991 until his retirement in 2000, he worked for Penn Pane Glass, Reading, 
  Pa. He was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Myerstown, Pa., and was an 
  avid Philadelphia Phillies fan. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a 
  daughter, Cynthia, wife of Alan Gernert of Myerstown, Pa.; and a son, Brian, 
  husband of Amy Troutman of Myerstown, Pa.; grandchildren Alana, wife of Andy 
  Clements, Hillary Gernert, Blaine and Brenna Troutman. Funeral services will be 
  held Thursday, May 29, 2008, at 2 p.m. from Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. 
  Washington Ave., Myerstown, Pa. Viewing Thursday beginning at 12:30 p.m. 
  Interment at Christ Lutheran Cemetery, Stouchsburg, Pa. In lieu of flowers, 
  memorial contributions may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 100 E. Brown 
  Street, Suite 23, Middletown, PA 17057.
