  William A. Van Kleunen, 75, of 307 Ridge Road, Annville died Friday, September 
  12, 2008 in the Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Patricia L. 
  Lawton Van Kleunen. Born in Lodi, N.J. on May 17, 1933, he was the son of the 
  late Peter A. and Margaret Nysse Van Kleunen. He was a retired Senior Engineer 
  with over 35 years of service at General Electric, Lebanon which was formerly 
  Buell and Envirotech. Bill was a 1951 graduate of Hasbrouck High School in New 
  Jersey, where he was named an All-State Football Tackle and a 1955 graduate of 
  Rutgers University with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He was a member of 
  Alpha Chi Rho Fraturnity; a charter member from 1979 to the present of the 
  South Annville Township Zoning Hearing Board; and took courses through the Penn 
  State Cooperative Extension Program and became a Master Gardener in 1998. 
  Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons Andrew W. and wife Kathleen Van 
  Kleunen of Philadelphia, Jonathan P. and wife Amy Van Kleunen of Philadelphia 
  and a daughter Nancy wife of Francis Curran of Chester Springs, PA. Four 
  grandchildren Lucy, Malcolm, Sophia, and Jillian and a sister Jean wife of 
  Allen Peddrick of Wilmington, DE. He was preceded in death by a brother Jack 
  Van Kleunen. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM from the 
  Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St. Annville. Interment will be 
  in Grand View Memorial Park. Viewing will be held on Monday evening from 7-9 PM 
  at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Penn 
  State Lebanon County Cooperative Extension, Master Gardner's Program, 2120 
  Cornwall Road, Suite 1, Lebanon, PA 17042.
