Wagner, 75, of Myerstown, Pa., died Friday, Nov. 21, 2008, at the Community General Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg, Pa. He was the husband of Erlene M. (Gibble) Wagner to whom he was married 55 years on Oct. 24. Born in Myerstown, Pa., on Feb. 14, 1933, he was the son of the late Calvin J. and Mary A. (Light) Wagner. He was a 1951 graduate of Myerstown High School; a 1953 graduate of the Chrysler Dealers School, Detroit, Mich., and a 1956 graduate of the Chrysler Sales Institute, Detroit, Mich. He had been co-owner and general manager of Calvin J. Wagner, Myerstown, Pa., for 40 years before becoming an EMT for K&W Medical Services, Myerstown, Pa., from 1990 until the present. He was a member of the Myerstown Church of the Brethren and had been past president and current financial secretary of the Keystone Hook & Ladder Co. #1, Myerstown; past president and current vice president of the Myerstown First Aid Unit; past president of the Lebanon County Ambulance Assn. and past president of the Lebanon County Automotive Assn. He enjoyed traveling and NASCAR racing. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter Linda, wife of James Smith of Mt. Aetna, Pa.; son Dean, husband of Katrina Wagner of Myerstown, Pa.; six grandchildren; two greatgranddaughters; sisters Janet E., wife of Herman J. Myers of Winder, Ga.; Gay L. Hitz of Grantville, Pa.; Carol L. Risser of Columbus, N.Y.; brothers Richard L., husband of Ann Wagner of Garrett, Ind.; Wilbur H., husband of Mary Lou Wagner of Myerstown, Pa.; and Kenneth G., husband of Joyce Wagner of Myerstown, Pa.; brotherin-law Allen "Buddy" Kintzer of Myerstown, Pa.; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister Joyce Kintzer. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008, at 2 p.m. from Friedens Lutheran Church, 301 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, Pa. Family will receive friends following the service at the Myerstown Church of the Brethren, 51 W. Stoever Ave., Myerstown, Pa. Please omit flowers.
