Miller shabodeho@aol.com January 31, 2008, 7:57 pm Published in the Lebanon Daily News on 1/6/2008 Walker, Clarence William Clarence William Walker PALMYRA Clarence William Walker, 80, of Palmyra passed away on Friday, January 4, 2008 at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center, as the result of heart failure. He was born to James Oliver & Bessie Guyer Walker on March 2, 1927 in Rice's Landing, PA. He grew up in Palmyra and served in the U.S. Navy as a Seabee. In May of 1945, he married Gladys Rogers. He was well known in the Hershey-Palmyra area for his blade sharpening business from which he retired in 2007. He is survived by his wife and three daughters, Linda wife of the late Frederick Masterson of Annapolis, MD; Victoria wife of Allen Hoffer of Hummelstown & Kathleen wife of Jeffrey Longenecker of Palmyra. He had 5 grandchildren and one great granddaughter. His brother Nelson preceded him in death. A private family funeral will be held.
