Miller shabodeho@aol.com August 2, 2008, 12:45 pm Published in the Lebanon Daily News on 7/21/2008 Wampler, Connie Lee Connie Lee Wampler, 87, Annville, died Saturday, July 19, 2008, in her residence. She was born in Harrisonburg, Va., on February 28, 1921, a daughter of the late Lewis D. and Grace R. Cox Wampler. She was retired from the Hershey Foods Company with over 33 years of service. She was a charter member of the Church of God since 1944, and had attended Living Waters Chapel for over 20 years. She was a Sunday school teacher for 45 years, was an outreach minister at Willow Terrace for eight years, volunteered at the Annville Free Library for eight years, and was the president and leader of YPF for seven years. She enjoyed playing the organ and loved to travel. She had visited all 50 states, as well as over 30 countries. She is survived by a foster daughter, Betty S. Sattazahn of Annville; sisters Gladys Merkey of Lancaster, Lena Hertzog of Elizabethtown, Lera Krammes of Lebanon, Minnie Summers of Georgia; brother Marvin Wampler of Lebanon; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sister Sylvia Wampler and brothers Paul and Mark Wampler. Funeral services will be Wednesday 2 p.m. in the Rohland Funeral Home, Fifth and Cumberland streets, Lebanon. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park. Viewing will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m., and Wednesday from 1 p.m. to the time of service in the funeral home.
