Miller shabodeho@aol.com October 4, 2008, 5:44 am Published in the Lebanon Daily News on 9/17/2008 Warble, Mabel E. Willing Mabel E. Willing Warble, 54, of Hummelstown went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 13, 2008, in the Hershey Medical Center as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born in Philadelphia on September 7, 1954, and was brought to live in the Harrisburg area as an infant. Mabel was the Guest Services coordinator for Hershey Chocolate World. Most people like their jobs, but Mabel loved her job and the people with whom she supervised and worked. She often referred to the employees of Chocolate World as her "other" family. Mabel also served as the coordinator of the Children's Miracle Network and on the employee's events committee for Chocolate World. She was a 1973 graduate of Lower Dauphin High School, and a member of its 35th class reunion committee. Mabel was a member of The Grace United Methodist Church, Hummelstown. She collected dolls, angels and wind chimes. Mabel enjoyed camping, traveling with her husband, children and grandchildren, and taking trips to Baltimore and New York with her sister. Fun-loving, with a great sense of humor, Mabel's laughter was infectious, bringing joy to all those around. She made a friend everywhere she went, and, in her sincere manner, would make each person feel they were the most important individual in her life. Mabel was light-hearted and a gentle soul who only saw the good in people. She did not know the meaning of the word "enemy." Mabel was an inspiration to all those who were blessed to know her, however, she was so humble that she would have never believed it herself. She never said "good-bye" without also saying "I love you" or "have a sweet day!" Above all else, Mabel was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Her families, both biological and work, and her three dogs, Rusty, Mindy and Cuddles, were most important to her. Mabel is survived by her husband of 35 years, Robert Lee Warble, whom she married on August 10, 1973; two sons, Robert L. Warble Jr., husband of Angie L. of West Hanover Township, and Jeffery A. Warble, husband of Scotti L. of South Hanover Township; one daughter, Debra A. Fischer, wife of Aaron J. of Middletown; four grandchildren, Aaron J. Fischer Jr. and Alexis N. Fischer, both of Middletown, Ryan R. Warble of West Hanover Township, and Ava R. Warble of South Hanover Township; her parents, John R. Sr. and Barbara J. Gebhart of Hummelstown; two sisters, Cheri L. White, wife of James R. of Harrisburg, and Barbara J. Shoemaker, wife of Troy of York Springs; one brother, John R. Gebhart Jr., husband of Tammy of Hummelstown; numerous nieces and nephews; and a multitude of friends. A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, September 22, 2008, at 7 p.m. in The Grace United Methodist Church, 433 East Main Street, Hummelstown, with the Rev. John A. Schaefer, her pastor, officiating. Viewing will be held in the church's narthex from 4 p.m. until time of the service. Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be sent to The Grace United Methodist Church, 433 East Main Street, Hummelstown, PA 17036, to be used for families in need; or to the Children's Miracle Network, P.O. Box 850, Hershey, PA 17033. Published in the Lebanon Daily News on 9/17/2008 This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/pafiles/ File size: 3.9 Kb
