Miller shabodeho@aol.com February 2, 2008, 9:16 pm Published in the Lebanon Daily News on 1/11/2008 Weaver, Harold David Harold David Weaver HUMMELSTOWN Harold David Weaver, 76, of Hummelstown was reunited with the Lord on January 9, 2008. Born May 16, 1931, in a farmhouse off Laudermilch Road in Hershey, he was a son of the late Wade H. and Tracy (Fultz) Weaver. Harold was a life long active member of the Derry Presbyterian Church where he enjoyed many hours of working and volunteering his time and talents. In addition, he was an active and honored member of the East Hanover Lions Club and the Hershey Coin Club. Prior to retirement, Harold was a devoted 40-year employee of Hess Trucking and started his career as the local milk man. Additionally, he was a life long philanthropist to many local organizations and those individuals in need. His greatest joy in life was serving the Lord and providing for his family, friends and community. He was known for his work ethic, laughter, infectious smile and kind heart. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Virginia Clemens, Frances Sauffley, and Helen Wilhite; and brothers, Wilmer Weaver and Ray Weaver. Harold was a loving husband to Marion E. (Fasnacht) Weaver for 54 years. He is also survived by his four children, Debbie (Weaver) Rupp and her husband Wayne of Westbrook, Minnesota, Barry Weaver and his wife Colleen of Palmyra, Randy Weaver and his wife Jeanette of Cleona and Traci Weaver of Hollis, New Hampshire; grandchildren, Stephanie (Weaver) Rosenberg and husband Todd of Avondale, Christopher Weaver of Palmyra, Jennifer Weaver of Cleona, Travis Rupp of Westbrook, Minnesota, Nicholas Bartis, Alexander Bartis and Kiyra WeaverBartis all of Hollis, New Hampshire; sisters, Madge Hollingsworth of Palmyra and Anne Hanshue of Millerstown; and brother Dick Weaver of New Bloomfield. Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Sunday, January 13, 2008, at Derry Presbyterian Church, 248 East Derry Road, Hershey, preceded by a viewing from 2 ñ 4 p.m. Burial 9 a.m. Monday in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to Derry Presbyterian Church, Youth Group, 248 East Derry Road, Hershey, PA 17033.
