  Weaver, Marlin S.   
   
  Marlin S. Weaver, age 78, of Hummelstown died Monday, October 27, 2008, in 
  Cedar Haven Nursing Home, Lebanon. He was the husband of the late Mary C. 
  (Schriver) Weaver, who died May 14, 2007. He was born in Palmyra on July 8, 
  1930, to George and Clara Summy Weaver. He retired from the Mechanicsburg Naval 
  Ships Parts Control Center in Mechanicsburg, but was a gunsmith, owning and 
  operating M & M Supplies & Custom Works. He was a lifetime member of the 
  Palmyra Sportsman Club and the National Rifle Association. He was also a member 
  of the Steelton Gun Club and the Hummelstown Shooting Club. Surviving are his 
  children, Keith A. Weaver of Baltimore, Md., Robert W. Weaver of Portland, 
  Ore., and Gregory A., husband of Sandra Sprecher of Palmyra, Pa., Lynn Kreider 
  of Palmyra, Pa., Allison Weaver of Baltimore, Md., Kay Weaver and her husband, 
  George of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Debra S., wife of Michael Hockley of Grantville, 
  Pa. A son, Barry R. Weaver, precedes him in death; 17 grandchildren; and nine 
  great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited for a a time of viewing 
  on Thursday, October 30, 2008, from 6-8 p.m. at the Rothermel Funeral Home 
  Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra. Funeral services will be on Friday, October 31, 
  2008, at 11 a.m., with the hour prior for viewing. The Rev. Daniel L. Hall will 
  officiate. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, 
  memorial contributions may be given to the Palmyra Sportsman's Club, PO Box 
  142, Palmyra, PA 17078
