Whitman LEBANON Cody Bryan Whitman, threeyear-old son of Tiffany A. Bloch, fianc"e of L. David Shuman of Palmyra, and David L. Whitman of Lebanon, passed away surrounded by loving family members and friends on Saturday, January 12, 2008, in the Hershey Medical Center. Born in Lebanon on December 17, 2004, Cody was affectionately called "My Baby," "Little Man," "Hubba Bubba," and "Coast." This precious child had a huge impact on everyone he met. Cody was a loving, energetic, obedient, and bright little boy. Always cheerful, smiling and doing silly things, Cody placed a smile on everyone's face he was around. In addition to his parents, Cody is survived by a half sister, Camden Whitman of Lebanon; a half brother, Tyler Whitman of Annville; his maternal grandparents, Brian L. Bloch and his companion, Kevin J. Whisler, and Jane E. Bloch, both of Palmyra; his paternal grandparents, Edward Whitman, husband of Mary of Lebanon, and Shirley Whitman of Lebanon; his maternal greatgrandmother, Irene L. Bloch of Hegins; his paternal grandmother, Josephine Bender of Lebanon; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 18, 2008, at 12:30 p.m. in the Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, with the Rev. Paul H. Haken, pastor of the Evangelical Free Church of Hershey, officiating. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park, North Annville Township. Friends are invited to call for a viewing in the funeral home Thursday, January 17, 2008, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday in the funeral home from 11:30 a.m. until time of the service. A celebration of sharing will follow the service at the graveside at the Evangelical Free Church of Hershey, 300 Hilltop Road, Hershey. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made to the "Cody Whitman Fund," c/o Woodforest National Bank, 100 North Londonderry Square, Palmyra, PA 17078.
