Miller shabodeho@aol.com April 26, 2008, 3:18 pm Published in the Lebanon Daily News on 4/4/2008 Wildasin, Elaine (Herr) Elaine Herr Wildasin PALMYRA Elaine Herr Wildasin, 63, of Palmyra passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, April 2, 2008. Born November 1, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Lloyd V. and Edith (Mintz) Herr. Elaine was a graduate of Messiah College, and retired from the Hershey Company in 2001. Elaine cherished the relationships that she developed in her roles as a wife, mother, grammy, and friend. She was an active member at Community Bible Church of Palmyra. She always sought to be a source of encouragement to people, especially those facing cancer and life's physical and spiritual hardships. She was preceded in death by her son, Stephen, and brother Ronald; she is survived by her loving husband Harry; brother, Wayne Herr of Grantville; and sister Lorraine Helman of Palmyra; son Matthew and wife Kristin of Hershey; son David and wife Amy of Palmyra; daughter Mary Elizabeth Dellow and husband Justin of Virginia; and grandchildren, Jacob, Adam, Emma, Maya, and Seth. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 7th, at 10:30 a.m. in the Community Bible Church, 1849 South Forge Road, Palmyra. Visitation will be from 68 p.m. at the church on Sunday evening. Interment will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Shingler Family Trust, c/o Regina Piecknick, trustee, 142 Cooper Road, Sandy Lake, PA 16145-4818, to benefit a young boy in the family with rare physical limitations.
