  Witmer, Frances E.   
   
  Frances E. Witmer, 82, of 1502 Plaza Apts., Lebanon, died Wednesday, December 
  17, 2008, in Cedar Haven Nursing Home, Lebanon. She was the wife of the late 
  Harold E. "Smokey" Witmer, who died in 1997. Born in Annville on June 13, 1926, 
  she was the daughter of the late Harry G. and Elizabeth Mohnshine Henning, and 
  was a 1944 graduate of Annville High School. Surviving are four sons, Larry E. 
  Witmer of California, Kenneth R., husband of Rose Mary Witmer of Palmyra, 
  Robert H. Witmer of Hummelstown, and Jeffrey A., husband of Cheryl Witmer of 
  Grantville; a companion, Lyle O'Neill of Lebanon; 10 grandchildren; and seven 
  greatgrandchildren. She was the last of her immediate family. Graveside 
  services will be held at the convenience of the family in Grand View Memorial 
  Park. Contributions may be made to the Union Hose Fire Company, 215 E. Main 
  Street, Annville, PA 17003. Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, Annville, is in 
  charge of arrangements.
