  Kathryn L. Witmeyer, 86, died on Monday, September 22, 2008, at the HCR Manor 
  Care, 900 Tuck St., Lebanon, where she was a resident. Born June 2, 1922, in 
  Lebanon, she was the daughter of the late John F. and Ellen L. Reed Witmeyer. 
  She had been a sewing machine operator for the Dianne Underwear Co., Lebanon; 
  member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Lebanon; and past president and 
  life member of the VFW Post No. 23 Ladies Auxiliary, Lebanon. She is survived 
  by sister Phyllis J. Sheaffer of Lebanon; and brother Marlin R. Witmeyer of 
  Annville. She was preceded in death by brothers William F., John D., Donald R. 
  and Robert C. Witmeyer; and sisters Elizabeth R. Geffert, Marquerite E. Shenk, 
  Ethel M. Eiceman and Matilda G. Daily. Services will be Friday, September 26, 
  2008, at 11 a.m. at the Taylor-Ruffner Funeral Home Inc., 712 Chestnut St., 
  Lebanon. Viewing will be 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. 
  Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
