Miller shabodeho@aol.com December 31, 2008, 12:13 am Published in the Lebanon Daily News from 12/14/2008 Wolfe, Miles Lester Miles Lester Wolfe, 88, of Hollywood, Florida, formerly of Lebanon, died Thursday, December 11, 2008, at Vitas Innovative Hospice Care in Florida. Born September 10, 1920, in Lebanon, he was a son of the late Abraham and Tacie (Schamber) Wolfe. Mr. Wolfe proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Miles retired from Lebanon steel foundries, and, after his retirement, he moved to Hollywood, Florida, where he was the district coordinator for AARP. In his free time, Mr. Wolfe enjoyed traveling, playing cards, and spending time with his loving family and friends. Mr. Wolfe is survived by his daughter, Tacie Jolene, wife of Michael Taibi, of Lancaster; his son, Bill Wolfe; two sisters, Doris Mae of Annville, and Mary Stubblebine of Overland Park, Kansas; and two grandsons, Patterson and Jared Taibi. He will be lovingly missed by his companion, Barbara Brooks, of Hollywood, Florida. Mr. Wolfe was preceded in death by five siblings. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2008, at the Gundel Funeral Home, 415 North Duke Street, Lancaster, with Father Leo M. Goodman officiating. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be private, and at the discretion of the family. The Gundel Funeral Home Inc. is assisting the family with arrangements.
