"Polly" Pauline L. "Polly" Worcester, 90, formerly of Cleona died Monday, December 1, 2008, in the Lebanon Valley Home, Annville. She was the wife of the late Elra A. Worcester, who died in 1976. Born in Lebanon on February 1, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Ira and Naomi Ebright Wentling. She worked as a clerk at the former King's Department Store, Cleona, for 30 years, and then as a cook for the Countryside Christian Community, Annville. Polly was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church, Cleona, where she sang in the choir for 50 years, and shared her beautiful voice as soloist for many weddings and funerals. She was also a member of the Cleona Fire Company Auxiliary, a volunteer for the Good Samaritan Hospital and the Countryside Christian Community, voted for 50 consecutive years, loved playing bingo, and was an avid Phillies fan. Surviving are two sons, Gerald L. and wife Lena Worcester of Annville, and Glenn A. and wife Donna Worcester of Lebanon; a sister, Lucille Love of Annville; six grandchildren Jeffrey Worcester, Debra Krause, Tina Migliaccio, Suzanne Skiles, Carol Worcester, and Christopher Worcester; and 15 greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth L. Worcester; a sister, Anna Tompkins; and a brother, Richard Ebright. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main Street, Annville. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park. Viewing will be held on Friday from 12:30-2 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Kindred Place, 1 Kindred Place, Annville, PA 17003; or the Immanuel United Methodist Church, 29 E. Maple Street, Cleona, PA 17042.
