  Robert F. Yiengst, 70, of Lebanon, Pa., died Friday, December 12, 2008 at the 
  Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. He was the husband of Margaret "Peg" M. 
  (Oberholtzer) Yiengst to whom he would have been married 34 years on December 
  31. Born in Mt. Zion, Pa., on January 16, 1938, he was the son of the late 
  LeRoy and Elmira (Fink) Yiengst. He served in the U.S. Navy and was employed at 
  the Bethlehem Steel, Lebanon, Pa., for 33 years. He drove school bus for the 
  ELCO School District for 17 years. He attended Myerstown Baptist Church. In 
  addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter Denise, wife of Eric Barnett 
  of New Castle, Delaware; a son Douglas, husband of Stacey Yiengst of Perkasie, 
  Pa.; step sons Allan, husband of Penny Hummer of Ono, Pa., and Brian, husband 
  of Michelle Hummer of Lebanon, Pa.; 4 grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; 1 
  step great-grandson; brothers Paul Yiengst of Jonestown, Pa., Harold Yiengst of 
  Myerstown, Pa., and James Yiengst; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded 
  in death by four brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be held 
  Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. from Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. 
  Washington Ave., Myerstown, Pa. Viewing Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Interment at 
  Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Pa. In lieu of flowers, memorial 
  contributions may be made to the American Heart Assn., P.O. Box 1263, Lebanon, 
  Pa. 17042.
